Motorist cited for reckless endangerment

 
MONKTON — Vermont State Police on Friday, Feb. 19 cited a Middlebury woman for negligent operation and reckless endangerment after she was allegedly caught traveling more than twice the speed limit on the Bristol Road in Monkton, with a toddler in her vehicle.
Lisa Perry, 24, will answer to the charges in Addison District Court on April 4, according to police. Authorities allege that Perry was seen at around 8:30 a.m. driving 83 miles per hour on a portion of the Bristol Road that is posted at 40 mph, with her 1.5-year-old son in the car.
