Share Valentine’s Day with a kitty
MIDDLEBURY — Looking “fur” love this Valentine’s Day? An unconditional love with no strings attached? A sweet, soft purr to warm up your winter nights? The cats of Homeward Bound, Addison County’s Humane Society, could be the perfect match for you.
From Feb. 2-16, adult (one year or older) shelter cats may be adopted for $50.
Homeward Bound Executive Director Jessica Danyow is hoping that this special Valentine’s deal will sweeten the pot for many would-be adopters and boost adoptions.
“We always have a wide variety of cats at the shelter,” Danyow says. “Most people can find exactly what they are looking for because we have so many to choose from. It’s the season for love and we hope this special will encourage folks to take an extra look at our sweet cats.”
Available cats can be seen at www.homewardboundanimals.org.
The shelter is located at 236 Boardman St. in Middlebury and is open Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
