Tiger girls’ hockey ties Rutland Raiders
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Union High School girls’ hockey team settled for a 4-4 tie with visiting Rutland this past Wednesday.

D-I playoff seeds will be determined by teams’ records within the division. The Tigers currently own the best D-I record, followed by Essex (9-3, 10-3 overall), Rutland and BFA-St. Albans (4-3 in D-I).
On Wednesday, the Tigers outshot the Raiders, 40-22. Raider goalie Kelsey Eddy made 36 saves, while Tiger goalie Rowan Hendy stopped 18 shots.

The Tigers host D-II Missisquoi on Tuesday, and then finish with games vs. the D-I iron: They play at Essex and Rutland on Feb. 3 and 10, respectively, before concluding their regular season by hosting BFA on Feb. 13.
