Hartford defeats OV basketball by five

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Host Hartford held off the visiting Otter Valley Union High School boys’ basketball team on Friday, 65-50.
The 4-7 Hurricanes went nine-for-nine from the line in the fourth quarter to end an OV comeback attempt. Chris Nulte led Hartford with 20 points.
OV junior guard Kai Norwood tied Nulte for game honors with 20 points, and Dylan Mackie chipped in 15 points for the 3-10 Otters.
