Randolph gymnasts edge Tigers at home

MIDDLEBURY — Visiting Randolph edged the Middlebury Union High School gymnastics team on Tuesday, 113.2-113.
Non-scoring independent Mount Abraham athlete Abby Perlee posted the top score in three events: the vault (8.5), floor exercise (8.05) and all-around (30.35).
Tiger Emily Laframboise was second in the vault (8.1) and third on the bars (6.2), while Leah Raymond took third on the beam (7.8), third on the floor (7.4) and the all-around (29.2), fourth on the bars (6.1), and sixth on the vault (7.85).
Randolph’s Madison Skoda won the bars (6.4), and Morgan Smith won the beam (8.35), floor (7.95) and all-around (29.7).
Other Tigers scoring were Ada Anderson, fourth in the vault (7.9), fifth on the beam (7.65), sixth on the bars (5.7) and sixth in the all-around (28.25); and Anna Buteau, fourth on the beam (7.75) and tied for sixth on the floor (7.1). Mount Abe independent Isabel Lucarelli tied for sixth on the floor (7.1).
