VERGENNES — The Greater Vergennes Rotary is once again sponsoring its Holiday Decoration Contest! The club is challenging both homes and businesses to decorate their front yards and windows for a friendly competition for prizes.
There will be one winner from each category chosen. Judging will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 19. Winners will be notified and prizes given for the “best of show.” The Business winner will receive a $100 donation to a charity of their choice. The private residence winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to a local business of their choice.
All homes within the city limits will automatically be judged. Any homes located out of town but within the five-town district (including Addison, Panton, Ferrisburgh and Waltham) are being asked to call 999-7818 or email [email protected] if they would like to be included in the judging.
