Football players named to all-star teams

ADDISON COUNTY — Local high school football players were well represented on the coaches’ postseason Division I, II and III all-star teams this fall.
The runner-up Middlebury Union squad placed three athletes on the first team: tight end Sawyer Ryan and defensive linemen Nick Beauchamp and Wyatt Laberge.
The full list of Tiger all-stars is:
OFFENSE:
First team: Ryan.
Second team: running back Jerry Niemo, fullback Cortland Fischer, wide receiver Chase Messner, linemen Laberge and Bruce Wright, and punter Oakley Gordon.
Honorable mention: Quarterback Gordon, running back Ali Abdul-Sater, linemen Beauchamp, Chris Grier and Pat Messenger.
DEFENSE:
First team: Beauchamp and Laberge.
Second team: end Niemo, inside linebacker Sawyer Ryan, and back Gordon.
Honorable mention: end Brady Larocque, lineman Bruce Wright, inside linebacker Grier and back Jack Hounchell.
In Division II, two Eagles were named first-teamers, center Matt Mullin and defensive end Jack Eisenhower.

OFFENSE:
First Team: Mullin.
Second team: Running backs Ryan Paquin and Casey Kimball.
Honorable mention: Tight end Bradley Sturtevant and linemen Jack Eisenhower and Josh Roscoe.
DEFENSE:
First team: Eisenhower
Second team: lineman Mullin.
Honorable mention: lineman Sturtevant, back Trevon Smith, returner Paquin and linebackers Jeb Hodsden, Wyatt Gracie and Devon Kimball.
In Division III, Carson Leary was named a first-teamer both at quarterback and defensive end, while M.J. Denis made the first team as both an offensive and defensive lineman. Also named to the first team were Will Ross as a wide receiver, Tyler Allen as an offensive lineman, and Trevor Peduto as a linebacker.

Second team: lineman Peduto. 
DEFENSE:
First team: Peduto, Leary and Denis.
Second team: back Will Ross, linebacker Brent Nickerson and lineman Allen.
