Congregational Church to hold craft sale with Santa, cookies

MIDDLEBURY — Quality crafts in the intimate setting of the Middlebury Congregational Church basement will be offered for sale at the Quarry Hill Craft Fair and Café on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Quarry Hill School Scholarship Fund. Located in Middlebury, Quarry Hill School has provided preschool programs for children in Addison County since 1972.
Held in conjunction with Very Merry Middlebury, the Quarry Hill Craft Fair and Café also offers Santa’s milk and cookies from the Downtown Middlebury Partnership. After a visit with Santa Claus at the Middlebury Community House, children are invited to stop in for a sweet treat with the whole family. Once inside, everyone can enjoy the lovely work featured by local crafters and artists. There will be textiles, jewelry, whimsical fairy houses, and prints and cards.
This year, family friendly lunch offerings will also be available. Macaroni and cheese or peanut butter and jelly, along with chili and cornbread, and tuna or egg salad wraps should provide something for everyone’s appetite.
