Mt. Abe seeks speakers from recent alumni
BRISTOL — The Mount Abraham Union High/Middle School is seeking a handful of recent MAUHS graduates to speak at a December board meeting on how Mount Abe prepared them for life after high school.
Specifically, the board wants to hear from women and men who graduated within the past one to five years, whether they went from Mount Abe into college, the armed services or directly into the work force.
Time and space are limited, so the board will limit this opportunity to six guests. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at the school. Everyone is welcome to attend to hear what these young adults have to say about their experiences and also have a chance to hear early information about the budget for fiscal year 2016-2017.
Those interested in sharing their experiences and insights are asked to contact either Amanda Bolduc at [email protected] or Kris Pearsall [email protected].
In order to gain a broader perspective on how Mount Abe graduates feel about their experience at MAUHS, the board will be making a SurveyMonkey survey available online, the details of which still have to be worked out.
