Bristol’s Harvest Festival & car show return this weekend
BRISTOL — The last weekend of September will be a busy one in Bristol, with two events bringing visitors and area residents to downtown Bristol. The Bristol Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, on the green, and the Better L8 Than Never Car Show will be held the next day, Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Bristol Recreation Field.
The annual Bristol Harvest Festival is co-hosted by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and the Bristol Recreation Department. Activities are scheduled to begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. when the village green will come alive with 60-plus crafters and vendors, and bandstand entertainment. In addition, this year’s Tour de Farms will be held in conjunction with Bristol Harvest Festival. There are a few vendor spaces still available.
The Snake Mountain Cruisers and Addison County Chamber will co-host the 12th annual Better L8 Than Never Car Show on Sunday at the Bristol Recreation Field. The car show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 200 vehicles are expected, with trophies to be awarded in multiple classes. Admission for spectators is free (donations are accepted for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta) and vehicle registration is only $15-20 per vehicle.
