Clinics set for soccer officials
VERMONT — The Vermont Soccer Officials Association is offering a series of clinics for those interested in becoming an official for girls’ and boys’ high school soccer games in Vermont.
The clinics are a required step for anyone who would eventually like to officiate high school games, according to the association.
The clinics are being offered:
• July 29 at Black River High School in Ludlow at 6 p.m. The contact for this clinic is Gary Blodgett at [email protected].
• Aug. 20 at Whitcomb High School in Bethel from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The contact for this clinic is Frank Martel at [email protected].
• Aug. 29 at Williamstown High School in Williamstown from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The contact for this clinic is also Frank Martel at [email protected].
The fee for each clinic is $50, payable at the clinics. That fee covers the clinic, a rulebook and first-year dues in the Vermont Soccer Officials Association as a probationary member.
