Dear Addison Independent,
Before I leave for a new job and home in Orono, Maine, I want to thank you for representing the Addison County community so well. Yours is the first local paper I have ever read closely and looked forward to getting in the mail.
I will miss the Addy Indy, along with the beautiful Champlain Valley, close friends, seeing my daughter grow up with caring teachers and classmates, and the many joys of teaching at Middlebury College.
Thanks to your staff for their efforts to be the voice, eyes, conscience and celebrants of this fine place and its people.
