Bristol’s townwide yard sale is June 20

BRISTOL — The Bristol Recreation Department is inviting all Bristol residents to take part in the first townwide yard sale on June 20. Organizers said the event will give sellers the opportunity to do some spring cleaning and yard sale enthusiasts the opportunity to find some treasures.
The June 20 sales will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.
You’ve got no yard? No problem. The Rec Department is renting 10-foot-by-10-foot space inside at Holley Hall or on the Town Green.
All locations will be listed on a special map and included in all advertising. Participants can pick up lawn sale signs at the Recreation office in Holley Hall.
To get on the map or save a spot downtown, register at the Rec office or mail in a registration form with a check. The registration forms are online at bristolrec.org.
Registrations received June 9-15 will pay $20 for a residential site, $30 for a space on the green or in Holley Hall. An early registration discount is available if you get your form in by end of day June 8.
