Panther women’s golfer is medalist in Massachusetts
AMHERST, Mass. — The Middlebury College women’s golf team tied with Williams for second place among 10 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst at the Hickory Ridge Golf Club on Saturday. The single-day tournament saw Ithaca take home the team title with a 324, followed by Middlebury and Williams, who were both one stroke back.
Panther senior Jordan Glatt took home medalist honors, firing an even-par 74. Tying for 10th place was senior Michelle Peng with an 82. The rest of the Panthers were Katherine Fortin (in 20th place with an 84), Monica Chow (85), Hope Matthews (85), Theodora Yoch (93) and Sarah Breckinridge (96).
The Middlebury women will play in the Williams Spring Invitational in Massachusetts this Saturday and Sunday.
