Builders invited to share issues on energy efficiency
MIDDLEBURY — Why does it cost so much to build a new energy efficient house, and what’s up with all of these crazy insulation details?
People who are involved in the building trades are often asked these questions, and some of them ask these questions themselves.
Vermont Integrated Architecture, a Middlebury design and planning firm, is inviting area builders and architects to its “Roundtable for Residential Building Professionals” on March 25 to discuss such questions in an open, roundtable format.
A principle question event organizers hope to tackle is how can designers and builders improve the way they work together to bring better value to their clients? It promises to be an evening of conversation, networking and light refreshments.
“Roundtable for Residential Building Professionals” will be held at the Byers Studio downstairs at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury on Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 7 p.m.
Building professionals who are planning to attend are asked to RSVP by sending an email to [email protected] or to call 802-989-7249.
