Man faces multiple DUI charges
BRISTOL — Bristol police on Feb. 14 arrested a Waitsfield man on suspicion of committing multiple offenses.
Police pulled over Erik P. Lundblad, 35, just before 1 a.m. for driving an unregistered vehicle on Stoney Hill Road. Police found that his driver’s license had been suspended for life for previous DUI convictions, and that he had a pending third DUI charge. Police said Lundblad was under conditions set by a judge that he not drive nor buy or possess alcohol. Police suspected Lundblad was intoxicated, and found an open can of beer in the vehicle.
Police said Lundblad refused to submit to a blood alcohol test at the police station, after police arrested him on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, DUI, and violating conditions of release.
Lundblad is due in Addison County Superior Court on March 2 to answer to the charges.
