Clinic scheduled for new lacrosse referees

RANDOLPH — The Vermont Lacrosse Officials Association (VLOA) will conduct a classroom clinic for new boys’ lacrosse officials on Sunday, March 22.
The clinic is scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon at Randolph High School in Randolph. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Classroom discussion will include foul recognition, mechanics, uniform, the basic rules and other information pertaining to officiating youth and high-school games this spring.
On-field instruction will occur about a week later in conjunction with high school scrimmages.
The fee will be $20, which also covers first-year VLOA dues. Those interested in learning more may visit the VLOA website at www.vermontlacrosseofficials.org, or contact Eric Evans at [email protected].
