Bugging out! After losing a bet with students, Mary Hogan principals chow on insects
MARY HOGAN ELEMENTARY School principals Tom Buzzell and Steve Lindeman didn’t have to eat their words last week, but they did have to eat bugs after the Middlebury school’s students met the principals’ challenge by reading 562,653 minutes during a month-long read-a-thon. The students erupted with screams and laughter with each crunchy bite. Students pictured are: Jolee Heffernan, Amelia Coburn, Kylie Bean, Dylan Field, Julian Cotell and Aislynne McGill.
