MUHS girls lose 2-0 to Marauders in hockey action
NORTHFIELD — The Middlebury Union High School girls’ hockey team opened with a 2-0 loss at Northfield on Saturday.
The Tigers outshot the Marauders, 11-10, but surrendered two second-period shorthanded goals to Northfield’s Claudia Gee, one of them scored while the Tigers had a five-on-three advantage.
Northfield goalie Analiese Morvan made 11 saves, while the Tigers’ Baily Ryan stopped eight shots.
