Opinion: Orwell’s Eastman has the right stuff

I am writing this letter to recommend the election of Alyson Eastman of Orwell running to represent Vermonters. Alyson has been involved in town issues for many years. She served on the Orwell School board. She understands the methods and means to develop a small business, having operated a bookkeeping payroll business, even extending to immigration services, and negotiating contracts.
She is fundamentally fair and open-minded in dealing with issues. She is straight talking, and has spent her entire life in Vermont, where she and her husband Mike are raising their two twin boys.
Alyson understands agriculture and the necessity of hard work having been raised on her father, Gerry Audet’s farm. Alyson will be focused on the needs of her constituents and will listen to all points of view. Truly, she will be a representative that we can all be proud to have.
She will work to bring good balanced representation to our district; I ask that you vote for her on Nov. 4.
