Opinion: Sheldon has background to be “first-class legislator”
I write to enthusiastically endorse Amy Sheldon’s bid to represent Middlebury’s residents in the Vermont House.
I have known Amy for decades and have worked closely with her as a fellow member of the planning commission. That experience taught me that Amy has true integrity, listens openly to grasp the facts, and then, guided by her knowledge and beliefs, arrives at fair, balanced decisions. Those are qualities we must have in our representatives.
By her involvement in many civic endeavors over the years, Amy has shown a keen knowledge of her home town, and possesses the life experience and maturity to be a first class legislator and leader. She will bring her background and skills in economics, natural resources, and nonprofit and small business management to Montpelier. Middlebury’s residents and Vermont deserve no less.
Please cast your vote for Amy Sheldon, and cast your vote for a better, fairer future.
