Tiger field hockey ties Mt. Mansfield again
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Union High School field hockey team and visiting Mount Mansfield settled for a 2-2 tie on Saturday, the second time this season the two foes have finished with that result.
Makayla Foster and Sara Kelley scored for the 5-3-2 Tigers, who received an eight-save performance from goalie Baily Ryan. Julia Preston stopped five shots for the 3-5-2 Cougars.
MUHS will try to slow down undefeated Essex on the road on Wednesday, and will host rival Mount Abraham (5-5) at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
