Mt. Abe field hockey evens its record

BURLINGTON — The Mount Abraham Union High School field hockey team blanked host Burlington on Friday, 2-0, to move back to .500.
The victory was the second straight for the 5-5 Eagles. The Eagles took charge against the 1-9 Seahorses by scoring twice in the first half, with the goals coming from Jackie Reiss and Ellie Gevry.
The Eagles will look to build on the momentum at home vs. Mount Mansfield on Wednesday and at Middlebury on Friday.
