MUHS field hockey clinics coming up

MIDDLEBURY — The members of the Middlebury Union High School field hockey team, former player Brooke Jette and the Middlebury Recreation Department are offering their annual clinic to elementary school students on Mondays — and one Wednesday —  this fall.
The clinic, for students in third through sixth grade, will run at the high school’s Jette Field beginning Wednesday, Sept. 10, and continue every Monday from Sept. 15 until Oct. 13 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., unless it is raining. Equipment will be provided.
MUHS athletes will emphasize fun and will offer instruction in skills and stick work; scrimmages will be played.
The cost is $40 for Middlebury residents, $45 for non-residents. Children may be registered at the recreation department office in the Middlebury Municipal Building.
