Donna Donahue is a calm, insightful, organized, thoughtful and engaging leader who will do a great job representing the town of Middlebury in Montpelier. Donna has a unique ability to listen carefully to ideas and concerns, to understand business, individual and community needs and then to drive solutions that accomplish the desired results. Donna leads to positive results, she does not direct the results.
Importantly, Donna understands that all elements of life have an impact on each other and it is necessary to consider all decisions in light of their impact on the other facets. Decisions regarding health care, education, social services, housings, jobs and the economy, the environment, etc., all have a profound effect on the others and must be deliberated with that understanding. She is principled without being an ideologue. She has the experience and leadership in business that will make her a great candidate.
With her children and grandchildren living in the area she will be very dedicated to the future of Middlebury. I had the great pleasure of working with Donna during our time together at the Better Middlebury Partnership and saw firsthand how effective she was as a leader, and at accomplishing things to make Middlebury a better place to live, work and play.
