We would like to apologize for an administrative error involving mistaken identity in the Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, edition of the Vergennes Police Report.  In an entry for the 1st of August, 2014, John R. Cole of Ferrisburgh, VT,  was incorrectly identified as the individual charged in a possession of marijuana incident. The individual who was involved had a similar identity. We deeply regret any inconvenience this error has caused.
