BRISTOL — A mid-afternoon tractor-trailer crash has snarled traffic in Bristol.
Just after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a tractor-trailer headed west on East Street (Route 116 west of the village) crossed the center line, crashed through the guard rail and rolled over, Bristol Police Chief Kevin Gibbs said. No one was injured and no other vehicles were damaged in the accident.
As of 4:30 p.m. Traffic was reduced to one lane on East Street, and police were asking motorists to seek alternative routes. Gibbs did not immediately offer a cause for the accident.
