MIDDLEBURY — Porter Medical Center Chief Executive Officer James L. Daily has confirmed he will retire from his position by early 2016, after what will have been 32 years at the helm of the county’s top health care organization that he has helped transform. Daily, 59, confirmed his planned departure through a recent letter to Porter employees.
He has pledged to participate actively in the leadership transition.
