WINOOSKI — The Addison Otters swim team, which is based in Bristol, competed at the NE GMA Winter Knights team specialty at St. Michael’s College on Jan. 3-5.
Twelve-year-old Oliver Roy and 16-year-old Katie Mayer both posted third-place finishes — the highest finish for the team. Roy placed third in the 12 and under 100-yard breast stroke with a time of 1:31.72, which was an improvement over his previous best by 8.58 seconds. Mayer was third in the girls’ 100-yard breast with a time of 1:14.95.
All the Otters, who practice at the Mount Abraham Union High School pool, swam multiple events, with the following highlights:
