OV, Eagle football players are all-stars
ADDISON COUNTY — Five members of the Otter Valley Union High School football team and two from Mount Abraham earned postseason recognition from the Division III coaches.
Four OV players were named first-team all-stars: senior Mike Winslow as a running back and a linebacker, senior Tyler Jones as an offensive lineman, junior Joe Scarborough as a receiver and junior John Winslow as a defensive back, while Mount Abe senior Tommy Lee Hodsden earned a first-team nod as a kick returner.
Hodsden made the second team twice, as a running back and defensive back; Jones made the second team as a defensive lineman; and John Winslow earned second-team recognition as a quarterback.
Joining them on the second team were two defensive lineman, Mount Abe senior Austin Lafayette and OV junior Adam Sherwin.
