ADDISON COUNTY — A two-car crash on Route 22A in Orwell late on the night of July 3 totaled both vehicles and sent one driver to the hospital, where he was still in critical condition early this week.

They report that a 2003 Kia Rio driven by Christopher Christian, 24, of Orwell and a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by William Lowell, 45, of Orwell collided without providing further details. Minor bruising was reported and the child was seen at Porter Hospital as a precautionary measure. No charges were levied.
Vermont State Police would like to remind people how important it is to fasten children in the appropriate size seats that are properly fastened to the vehicle’s seat.
