Deputy warden’s house burglarized
ADDISON — Vermont State Police are investigating the Feb. 15 burglary of a home on Jersey Street in Addison during which the culprit stole a variety of personal property, including items with the State of Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife insignia. Police said the stolen items — a Deputy F&W badge, collar brass and a tie clip — belong to one of the victims, Deputy Warden Eugene Stearns.
The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $8,000, according to police.
