Singapore in the spotlight at Armchair Traveler series

NEW HAVEN — Meg Barnes of Shoreham will present photos and give a talk about her travels in Singapore at the New Haven Community Library’s Armchair Traveler series on Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m.
Singapore is an Asian city-state located off the Malay peninsula 85 miles north of the equator. It is a bustling city that was formerly a part of the British Empire.
Among the photos are images of a fantastic casino and restaurant perched atop three towers, as well as views of a city skyline filled with skyscrapers.
Barnes’ presentation will take place at the library at 78 North St.
All are welcome. For further information call Deborah at 453-4015.
