Middlebury Police Log: New Haven driver cited for 2nd DUI

Editor’s note: As a result of a recent switch in computer software at the Middlebury Police Department, the weekly crime log that is provided electronically by police does not include the level of detail to which our readers have grown accustomed through the years. The Addison Independentis working with Middlebury police to find a way to restore the crime log to its previous level of detail.
MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited Robert A. Martineit, 30, of New Haven for driving under the influence, second offense, following a stop on Exchange Street on Jan. 9.
In other action last week, Middlebury police:
•  Looked into a report of a suspicious person in Printers Alley on Jan. 7.
•  Investigated a larceny complaint in the Court Street area on Jan. 7.
•  Responded to a fraud complaint in the Court Street area on Jan. 7.
•  Dealt with an unspecified alcohol offense in the College Street area on Jan. 8.
•  Tended to a landlord-tenant dispute at a Cross Street apartment on Jan. 8.
•  Served a no-trespass notice on Jan. 8 on a person who was not wanted at a Mill Street address.
•  Responded to an unspecified incident at Middlebury Union High School on Jan. 8.
•  Tended to an unspecified alcohol offense on Court Street on Jan. 9.
•  Responded to a domestic disturbance report at a Washington Street residence on Jan. 9.
•  Received a report about a suspicious person in the Deerfield Lane neighborhood on Jan. 9.
•  Responded to another unspecified incident at MUHS on Jan. 10.
•  Investigated a theft complaint on North Pleasant Street on Jan. 10.
•  Tended to an unspecified juvenile problem in the John Graham Court area on Jan. 10.
•  Responded, with other emergency services providers, to an accident (with injuries) on Court Street on Jan. 10.
•  Investigated a report of a suspicious person on Cross Street on Jan. 10.
•  Cited Shane E. Bohannon, 20, of Middlebury for possession of marijuana, following an investigation at a Cady Road location on Jan. 10.
•  Dealt with an unspecified alcohol offense in the Court Street area on Jan. 11.
•  Tended to an unspecified juvenile problem in the John Graham Court area on Jan. 11.
•  Responded to a disorderly conduct complaint in the Court Street area on Jan. 11.
•  Cited Jeffrey F. Mayo, 25, of Bristol for simple assault, following an incident at a Main Street location on Jan. 12.
•  Investigated a public intoxication complaint on College Street on Jan. 12.
•  Were asked to respond to a “mental health issue” at a Cross Street residence on Jan. 12.
•  Responded to an unspecified alcohol offense in the Franklin Street area on Jan. 12.
•  Were informed of a suspicious person in the North Pleasant Street neighborhood on Jan. 13.
•  Were asked to respond to a “mental health issue” at a Cross Street residence on Jan. 13.
•  Tended to a disorderly conduct complaint in the Porter Drive area on Jan. 13.
