Vergennes Police Log: Police charge student with disorderly conduct

VERGENNES — Vergennes police on Saturday cited a Northlands Job Corps student for disorderly conduct and simple assault following a confrontation with Northlands security personnel during which the student allegedly tied to choke one security officer and spit on another.
Cited was Marques M. Green, 19, of Rochester, N.Y. Police allege Green had been drinking and refused to take a breathalyzer test before becoming combative with center security officers and verbally threatening them. Police lodged Green at the Chittenden County Correctional Center for lack of $10,000 bail.
