Two Middlebury streets to be closed this week

MIDDLEBURY — Public Works Department officials in Middlebury said they will close parts of Washington Street Extension and Painter Road on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and Wednesday, Nov. 7, while they improve the water infrastructure.
The street will be closed on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Painter Hills Road.
The next day work will move to the Grey Ledge Road area, which will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
This work is for installation of water main across the road in both locations.
