Middlebury to close South Street on Saturday

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury officials this week announced that South Street will be closed to through traffic on Saturday, Oct. 27, starting at 7 a.m.
The street will be closed specifically at 3 South St. (the home of the Middlebury College President). This will allow workers to install a new water service and fire sprinkler line.
All through traffic from Main Street (Route 30) must use Porter Field Road to get to South Street.
The street will be closed until the work is done; which officials said could be in the late afternoon.
