Lincoln General Store burglarized

Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary reported at the Lincoln General Store at 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. The culprit(s) first tried to get into the business through a rear door, but ultimately gained access through a window, according to the store owner. Once inside, the thieves stole an unspecified amount of cash and cigarettes, according to police. Anyone with information on the crime should contact Vermont State Police at 388-4919.
