STUDIO CITY, Calif. — A Vergennes native competed on the popular daytime game show “The Price is Right” last week, and her appearance will be broadcast this coming Friday.
According to a Price is Right spokesperson, Theresa McDonough’s appearance will be broadcast at 11 a.m. this Friday on Channel 3.
What prizes McDonough, a former Vergennes Union High School student, may have won or whether she earned a shot at the program’s trademark “Showcase” are, of course, closely held secrets prior to the broadcast.
According to city officials, who have mutual acquaintances with McDonough, she grew up in Vergennes and she and her husband Yukio have lived in Vergennes and have family there, but now reside in Colchester.
