The 33-year-old female victim reported that Comes had attempted to get a gun and threatened to kill her and himself. She also said Comes was intoxicated.
Trooper Michael Notte took a description of Comes’ car and sent out an alert to police to be on the lookout for it. Trooper Warner spotted the vehicle a couple miles north of the incident on Rattlin Bridge Road, stopped the car and processed Comes for driving under the influence, third offense. Comes was also cited for domestic assault. He was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center on $5,000 bail.
