The Middlebury Union High School football team faced off against Rice in Saturday’s Division II final at Castleton State College. The top-seeded Tigers lost the game 20-38, accepting the runners up trophy. Andy Kirkaldy attended the game and caught up on the whirlwind season with Coach Dennis Smith afterward.
