Middlebury traffic patterns to change

MIDDLEBURY — Town officials on Thursday released a construction update stating that traffic patterns in downtown Middlebury would be changing between Friday, Aug. 27, through Friday, Sept. 3, to accommodate the completion of the roundabout and related paving.
The update stated that College Street would undergo paving and painting work for parking spaces between Friday, Aug. 27, and Monday, Aug. 30.
In addition, town officials cautioned that traffic patterns on Main Street would be changing often over the next weeks, and that on Monday, Aug. 30, construction crews would begin construction on the west half of the roundabout.
The update added that parking on Main Street between Park Street and the Otter Creek Bakery driveway would be removed permanently.
