But for me what is most timely and moving is her unrelenting focus on forgiveness, in Hebrew <em>selichot</em>.</p> <h4 class="meta2">View: <a href="/?q=node/9455/lightbox2" rel="lightframe">Quick Read</a> | <a href="/?q=node/9455">Full Article</a> </h4> <p><a href="http://www.addisonindependent.com/201110notes-border-sin-forgiveness-and-death-penalty" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Staff Blog Notes from the Border Mon, 03 Oct 2011 20:02:13 +0000 Rebecca Reimers 9455 at http://www.addisonindependent.com Notes from the Border: The Stone Mill Dam Bridge http://www.addisonindependent.com/201109notes-border-stone-mill-dam-bridge <div class="image-attach-teaser image-attach-node-9447" style="width: 175px;"><a href="/201109notes-border-stone-mill-dam-bridge"><img src="http://www.addisonindependent.com/files/images/2011-09-13_17-32-12_492_0.thumbnail.jpg" alt="2011-09-13_17-32-12_492.jpg" title="2011-09-13_17-32-12_492.jpg" class="image image-thumbnail " width="175" height="99" /></a></div> <p> One of my great pleasures is to go exploring the back roads whenever I have to drive here to there in Vermont. Time permitting, and if the kids are up for it, we leave the state highways behind on trips from Middlebury or Rutland or Shoreham and turn onto dirt roads instead. I haul out my trusty atlas of Vermont, having long since learned that my car&rsquo;s navigational system likes to insist that I am on an &ldquo;unverified route&rdquo; once I get off the main-traveled roadways.</p> <h4 class="meta2">View: <a href="/?q=node/9445/lightbox2" rel="lightframe">Quick Read</a> | <a href="/?q=node/9445">Full Article</a> </h4> <p><a href="http://www.addisonindependent.com/201109notes-border-stone-mill-dam-bridge" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Staff Blog Notes from the Border Fri, 16 Sep 2011 16:00:00 +0000 Rebecca Reimers 9445 at http://www.addisonindependent.com Notes from the Border: Apple trees and cellar holds http://www.addisonindependent.com/201010notes-border-apple-trees-and-cellar-holds <p align="LEFT"> <h4 class="meta2">View: <a href="/?q=node/5865/lightbox2" rel="lightframe">Quick Read</a> | <a href="/?q=node/5865">Full Article</a> </h4> <p><a href="http://www.addisonindependent.com/201010notes-border-apple-trees-and-cellar-holds" target="_blank">read more</a></p> Staff Blog Notes from the Border Wed, 06 Oct 2010 16:43:41 +0000 5865 at http://www.addisonindependent.com
