HELEN NOLEN
BRIDPORT — Helen Ruth Nolen, 99, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Helen Porter Health & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
She was born in the Bronx, New York City, on June 8, 1913. She was the daughter of George and Jeanette (Wallace) Schaub. She was a permanent resident of Bridport since 2000, but owned her home there since 1935. In her earlier years she worked as a secretary for the state of New York. She also worked for many years for Helena Rubinstein Cosmetics Corp.
