SUDBURY — MaryLou Chatfield, 74, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, with her family by her side, at her home in Sudbury.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Brandon. The Rev. Margaret Fletcher, rector, will officiate. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon on Friday, Sept. 3, from 6-8 p.m.
She was born in Cornwall, N.Y., on Sept. 9, 1935. She was the daughter of Morton and Mary (O’Dell) Henderson.
BRISTOL — Corey Scot Guthrie, 27, of Charlottesville, Va., died suddenly in a motorcycle accident on Aug. 6, 2010, in Charlottesville.
Memorial services were held in Virginia on Aug. 11.
He was born on June 15, 1983, to John and Sheri Guthrie. He spent his early years in Bristol and moved to Florida with his family at 14. He graduated from the University of Southern Florida and spent five years on active duty with the United States Army. Most recently, as a civilian, he worked for the National Security Agency and the National Ground Intelligence Center in Virginia.
MIDDLEBURY — Lynn W. Hinman of Middlebury passed away Aug. 27, 2010, from complications of ALS. Surrounded by family, he went gently into the night.
A mass in memory of Lynn will be held at St. Stephen’s Church in Middlebury at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service at the Middlebury Inn. Parking will be available at the inn for those planning to attend the reception.
Lynn was born on Feb. 24, 1935, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Elfreda and William G. Hinman.
