R. Bernard Alexander

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. — R. Bernard “Bernie” Alexander, 92, passed away Aug. 11, 2010.

Services and burial were private.

Survivors include his son, Steve Alexander and wife Kathy of North Ferrisburgh; his daughter Polly Alexander of Essex Junction; his daughter Joan Leonhardt and husband Bob of Ardsley-on-Hudson, N.Y.; his grandchildren, David Leonhardt and wife Laura of Washington, D.C., Robin Peterson and husband Eric of Denver, Colo., Tyler Nash of Essex Junction, and Maria, Jackson, and Daisy Alexander of North Ferrisburgh; and four great-grandchildren.

Lawrence Lathrop

BRISTOL — Lawrence E. Lathrop, 96, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 2, at Bristol Federated Church, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol.

He was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Bristol Notch, the son of William and Louina Lathrop.

He graduated from Bristol High School, class of 1934, and got married that same year to his wife of 76 years, Helen (Ferguson) Lathrop.

He served 50 years in Bristol Fire Department. He worked well into his 80s as a guide at Shelburne Museum.

Robert Fuller

BRISTOL — Robert “Bobby” Fuller, 51, died suddenly at Fletcher Allen Health Care surrounded by family and loved ones on Aug. 29, 2010.

A service will be held Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at 1 p.m. in Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol, with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol. Family and friends may call at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.

He was born in Burlington on May 3, 1959, to Robert and Ramona (Parker) Fuller.
