Edgar Butterfield Sr.

MIDDLEBURY — Edgar Butterfield Sr. died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury with his family by his side. He was just 13 days shy of his 101st birthday.

Calling hours were held Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Sanderson Funeral Home on South Main Street in Middlebury. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at Middlebury Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jill Robinson officiating. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol.

ORWELL — Marion Hazel Christian, 76, of Orwell died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Mountain View Center in Rutland.

Katherine Kocsis

BRADENTON, Fla./CHARLOTTE — Katherine Horsford Kocsis, 87, of Bradenton, Fla., and formerly of Charlotte, died at her home Nov. 10, 2009.

There will be no funeral service and memorial gatherings will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.

She was born Aug. 27, 1922.
