Mark Snow gets long jail term for sex assault

MIDDLEBURY — Mark A. Snow, 41, of Middlebury on Tuesday was sentenced to five years to life in prison for sexually assaulting a young woman on Jan. 1, 2010. Following sentencing by Judge Nancy Corsones in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, Snow was taken to the Marble Valley Correctional Facility in Rutland.

“We were hoping for more, but the judge, after reviewing all the material, felt that five to life was an appropriate sentence,” said Deputy State’s Attorney Christopher Perkett.
