VERGENNES — Vergennes police on Feb. 20 cited two men involved in the same incident for driving with suspended licenses, criminal offenses, citing one of the men twice.
The incident began when police checked a suspicious car at Champlain Farms on Main Street and discovered its license plates were assigned to a different vehicle. They then cited the operator, George Hallock Jr., 28, of Waltham, for a criminal DLS (driving with license suspended), as well as ticketed him for driving an unregistered and uninsured car with unassigned plates.
