William L. “Billy” Reed Sr.
BRANDON — William L. “Billy” Reed Sr., 74, of Brandon died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at 1 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brandon.
There are no public calling hours.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to The Brandon Area Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Brandon, VT 05733.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
Marjorie Hickey
WEYBRIDGE — Marjorie Hickey, 77, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born April 24, 1931, in Suplee, Penn., the daughter of the late C. Lloyd and E. Viola (Millard) Emery. Formerly of Downingtown, Penn., she relocated to Vermont in early 2004 to be closer to her family.
She graduated from Downingtown High School in 1949. She then attended classes at Franklin & Marshall College before she went on to become the Assistant Director of Personnel at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Penn.
She was married to the late Lester G. Daily of Parkesburg, Penn., in 1951. They had one child, James L. Daily, before divorcing in 1973. She was later remarried to Thomas Hickey of Downingtown, Penn. They divorced after 23 years of marriage.
After 30 years at the VA hospital she retired and later owned and operated On-The-Go Travel in Exton, Penn., for ten years. According to her family, traveling was always a great passion of hers and throughout her life she journeyed to countries all around the world. She also had great love for cats, especially Booty.
